Ok Venue

I was in the area, so I decided to stop by Venue on a recent Friday evening. I arrived around 6. There was no cover, but the bouncer gave me a pat down. I did find out later that there is a 5 dollar cover on Friday and Saturday nights. I’m just not sure what time the cover starts. The parking lot is decent sized, but the parking lot always seems to be full in the evenings no matter what day it is.

When you walk in, the DJ booth is to your left and there is a lottery machine just ahead next to the ATM. If you keep walking straight to the upper level, there are more lottery machines hidden back there. There looks to be two stages. There is one main stage, and a smaller stage a little bit further down. They were only using one stage during my time there, but I imagine they open up two stages at night time. Some of the girls will give you contact on stage, they’ll climb over the rail and grind on you. As far as the customers, it’s definitely more blue collar type. The customers match the club type which is more dive bar feel. As far as masks, if you’re seated you don’t need to wear one. If you’re standing walking around, you have to have one on. Drink prices were pretty solid, I think I came in during happy hour, my rum and coke was $3.50.

On to the girls, the talent was up and down to say it nicely. There were probably like eight girls, four of them were fat, out of shape, and/or ugly. Two of them were ok, maybe 6 range. And then two of them were 7’s, I found out those two girls are relatives (Latinas). It was a mix of Latina girls and white girls, with one black girl. It was a mix of younger and older girls. Some of the girls looked in their mid 20’s, and some of the girls were definitely in their mid to late thirties. This definitely doesn’t seem like the club where the hottest girls in town would come and work.
