Not much to be exited about...
Visited Secrets for the first time in a year and a half. I had heard they did some remodeling and made some other changes, so I was interested to see what they were. First thing I noticed was an improvement in the parking lot, it is still laid out kind of crazily, but it has been repaved. I don't remember the entry fee, it was under ten dollars, and of course they wand you on your way in. Despite the claims of remodeling, I didn't see any difference in the main room, unless they got new chairs and tables which I wouldn't notice after a year and a half anyway. The stage and bar layout is still the same, with the bar running along the left wall when you enter the main room, the stage in the center, and the DJ booth on the right side. The DJ kept mentioning the patio area, so maybe that is upgraded but I didn't check it out. I don't drink and drive, so I only ordered a red bull and a bottled water while I was there, each were four dollars. I think the brunette behind the bar was dancing the last time I was here, if that is her it's a shame she isn't still dancing based on my past experience with her. The club has dropped the thirty dollar couch room prices, there is now a sign at the couch room entrance saying dances are 20 or 25 dollars, so the girls charge either. The five dollar couch room entry fee is back in place for each time you enter, whether for one dance or many. If your getting a lot of dances at one time, this will be mitigated per dance. I know damn well as I type this that someone will be incapable of comprehending it. I sat for a time watching the talent to see what would interest me, maybe a third of them looked good to me.
The club apparently now has a requirement that the dancers wear a sort of short gown when walking around the room. A brunette a little thicker than I normally like sat with me for a minute before asking me if I wanted a dance, and I broke my rule of not getting a dance before seeing her on stage. One way contact, two dances at twenty each. A really thin but athletic looking girl joined me a few minutes later, and I had seen her on stage and wanted a close up, so I got four dances with her at twenty five, but I had to ask her to take her top off. She did, and had perfect little naturals, but no hands on. Back in the main room I realized that only about half the girls were actually getting topless on stage, wtf is the point of that? A bit later a tall knockout blonde hit me up for a dance, and I agreed. Once in the room she informed me that if I wanted her dress to come off I would have to pay her six dances up front at 25 dollars each. Nope, one and done. Finally, another short blonde sat with me and I got an excellent vibe from her, but I hadn't seen her on stage yet so I declined when she asked me to get some dances. Once she did get on stage I determined that I would get some if she came back around, but she was busy the rest of the night. I will definitely try her IF I stop in again and she is there. Ok, if I'm in the area I will stop in to see her.
Overall, the club seems to be determined to get a little fancier, which seems to translate to less fun. If your passing through, yeah, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
