Customer serve? We ain't got no customer service

Hadn't been to Spearmint Rhino in about a year. Saw a name of a former favorite dancer from a different club on their nightly online roster and thought I'd check it out to she if she came out of retirement. It wasn't her. But I stuck around.

They appear to be starting a new concept in a club experience...be unfriendly and ungrateful. Based on Friday night's visit, it will be at least another year before I go back.

First off, I walk into the entryway just about 8 p.m. Two bouncer dudes are on duty. They don't say a word. I offer up the first hello. They do the Joe Friday just the facts rundown of cover cost ($10), visual license check, Covid temp check on wrist and contact tracing registering. No smiles, barely any eye contact, two guys who seemed to hate their jobs.
