Waste of time

I've seen some people report having a good time at Hip Hugger, and I've had at least one not-bad time, but my luck has generally not been good. One problem, I think, is that I'm stopping while en route elsewhere, so my timing is always less than ideal. I was there on a recent Tuesday about 6:00pm. Of possible note, GPS directions sent me down the wrong street, putting me behind the building with no obvious path through the fence. I had to circle around to the actual entrance, where there was plenty of parking.

There was nobody staffing the door, no cover, and no masking. Inside it was quite dark, darker than I remember (though perhaps it was just the transition from daytime). The place felt like a regular bar, with a pool table and dart board on one side, some basic tables and chairs, and a medium-sized stage with some decent lighting. The bar had maybe half a dozen stools.

There was a large-bellied dancer on stage. Other than her there was an older, mildly fit dancer, and a younger big-all-over dancer with a cute baby face. That was the extent of the talent I saw for a while. After a bit I saw two other dancers, one blonde the other brunette, both sort of average looking. All of the dancers were white.
