I never like feeling like I have to work for it when I’m at a club. I guess I got there kind of early (around 8:30) and no one had loosened up yet. There was a very attractive woman who sat next to me, but barely said a word to me until I offered to buy a drink. She was obviously not interested in much past getting more drinks. Even the layout of the stages made it awkward for me to tip dancers. Dancers in general seemed unmotivated to to make the rounds and start small talk. Everyone was nice though. I left feeling like I was therefor them and not the other way around.
