Crazy Horse in Sept. 2021
Place: this strip club is near the Tenderloin neighborhood which is one of the worst areas of San Francisco. There are a ton of homeless people camping around the club entrance and on both sides of the street. It's not a good area to be walking around late a night. Inside the club, it's somewhat dark (depends on what part of the club you sit) and in my opinion the music is a little too loud but overall it's not bad. There's almost always plenty of seats available and it's clean and well maintained. Every time I've gone to this club, there's only around 20-25 patrons there, even on a busy night. The club has enough seats to fit around 75 patrons.
People: There's usually around 10-15 dancers at this club (depends on the COVID case rate). On a Friday or Saturday night when the COVID cases are low, there can be up to 20 dancers. When COVID cases are higher, like they are now (September 2021) with the delta variant, there will typically be around 10-12 dancers. The night I went there were 11 dancers. The dancer's ethnicities were mostly white, one black, one Asian and one Hispanic. Nearly all of the dancers were friendly and professional, however, they often times were in the back room for long periods of time. It can be frustrating because if you want to ask for a lap dance or a private dance, you often times have to wait a while for them to come out. Regarding the bouncers and staff, they are friendly and professional.
Price: cover charge was $25 in early September 2021 (other times this summer the cover charge was lower around $21). The lap dances are typically in the range of $40-$60 per song and the private dances are in the range of $150-$200 per dance (which is 3-4 songs).
