Enjoyable if non-eventful trip to BT's
I arrived at BT's at 3:45 PM on Friday. I generally use the valet service, but this time I decided to try parking in the art supplies parking lot nearby. The valet guy didn't even shoot me a dirty look when I walked in, as I half expected he would. There was no cover yet, and the door guy showed me to a booth, which are free that time of day except for whatever you want to tip him.
The club itself has a decent atmosphere and it's somewhere around Silver Criket-level, maybe a bit nicer. It was dark enough that I had a hard time maneuvering to my booth without walking into a chair or a patron. I've only been to BT's maybe four or five times, but I've always felt safe and comfortable there.
Pretty blonde server Sierra got me a beer for $8 (later, I got a bottled water, which was also $8), and I settled in to see what I could see. There appeared to be about twenty patrons and maybe twelve girls working. It seemed pretty evenly split between African American dancers and white girls. After I'd been there maybe five minutes, a pretty black girl named Shy joined me in the booth without asking if I'd like company. I generally like to sit alone for a while, getting the names of the as many dancers as I can for these reviews before I chat with someone. But she was pleasant and sweet, so I decided to chat and get names later. She wasn't pushy with a pitch for dances, so I just enjoyed our conversation.
