Back to Desire for the first time since Covid. Once I got past the metal detector at the door, it seemed nothing changed. Wendy is still at the bar. Drink card from pre Covid still had stored value.
Both bars downstairs were packed. The chairs at the stage and the tables were available. A new dancer was auditioning on the side stage.
Always liked Desire, my take is clean enough to be safe, dirty enough to be fun. Had a couple of drinks, saw, a couple of favorites, A huge number of very hot dancers, very friendly and open minded. Never could justify Lust, I live too far away. I hear they are selling day passes now, I didn't get the price, but if it's reasonable, I'd head up there, the bar is nicer, the rooms (booths) are bigger, just generally better, but more $$ place.
Back downstairs, Booths open, now $.4 for 15 mins, a slight increase, I never discussed money with my Dancer, we had been back to the booths on previous occasions, so our expectations were well known.
The rap on Desire is that it is a place for regulars. It can be hard to break through, but get up to the stage, tip a Dancer, ask them to join you if you want. At Desire, until you are a known commodity, you will have to make the first move.
