Found myself back on the East side today and decided to give Excape a second chance after my underwhelming visit a little more than eight months ago on Xmas eve. But after a second visit, "underwhelming" is precisely the word I would use to describe this place.

Arrived about 1:20PM and was the first patron. Music was playing but nobody was dancing. Naively optimistic, I figured the odds were in my favor. Four girls were clustered together- the bartender and three dancers. The bartender got up and I got my traditional water ($3) and waited for something to happen. Anything. All I got were 4 girls staring into their phones. I probably should have left right then.

After a second patron came in, the girls figured they probably should start, you know, dancing or something. So one one of them got up and she was actually super attractive- slim, long brown hair, a bare minimum of ink. Said her name was Gracie. I made a mental note. After Gracie came Samantha (bottle blonde and too big for my taste), then Harley (also very attractive but too inked up for my liking), then Charlie (also on the large side) and then Honey (AA, hair dyed almost white, with her eyes made up to have that creepy "fierce" look... no thank you). By time all 5 girls had done their dances (other reviews are spot on- they do the tip walk between each song, so be prepared to spend twice as much in ones and you can't go up close and personal given the physical setup of the stage being an island beyond where you sit at the bar) a few more people had come in. Charlie was the most aggressive with me in terms of flirting and paying me compliments I know she didn't mean but eventually she found someone more receptive to her overtures.
