First stop here in a long time

Last night I went to McDoogal's after having avoided them for a few years. The building and layout are mostly the same. The parking is free and plentiful -- however, the rear parking lot is very dark so beware. There last night there was no doorman taking the cover - that was being done by the bartender. Cover was $8 + you had to buy 1 soda/drink -OR- give them your beverages to be held at the bar. My cover + bottle of water was $12.

A tip for people going there from many years ago (that still holds true today) is to sit on the side of the bar by the restrooms or over by the high-top tables. That will put you directly in the path of the dancers if you want to grab their attention for some 1:1 time. The corners of the bar probably keep you furthest away from the dancers, so it can be a little less fun to sit there. The girls were all fun, nice to their guests, most were pretty (only one lady didn't suit my tastes), and overall they danced energetically. By the end of their set, they were fully nude and they got to choose their own music from the jukebox (this allowed for a lot of variety). There were obviously had some regulars in the crowd, but the girls tried to give everyone some attention. Some ladies were friends I have met from other clubs around Baltimore, others were exclusive to McDoogal's.

The dances were a little expensive -- $40 a song. These were either topless or nude (depending on the girl) and no one seemed to offer a dance for less. They have two private rooms that were going for around $250 for 15 to 30 minutes (I got different answers from different ladies). I didn't do too many dances (I was only there for an hour and a half and wanted to get a feel for the club). Heavenly was a great person with whom to have a 1:1 dance. Famous and India were also both fun, but not nearly as attentive as Heavenly was.
