I visited Odyssey Showgirls on a Friday night about 23:30. As you drive in, you go through a corral that controls access to the parking lot. When you get to a wooden gate, a bouncer asks if you want to go to the strip club or the adult theater. I paid a $10 cover and then was directed to park my car. The neighborhood is rough, so this was how the club kept patrons' vehicles safe and kept the riff raff away from the club. When you exit, you have to go through another wooden gate. Sincweisers were $4. Sodas (Coca-Cola products) and bottled water were $3. There is a light food menu that consists of bar pizzas, chicken strips, chicken wings, lake perch, corn dogs, and various fried appetizers. The food is a little pricey and not a loss leader like in many bars and strip clubs.

The main stage is an island with two poles situated in the middle of the room. It is five steps off the ground, so you are mostly looking upwards at the dancer when you go to tip. There is also a side stage with cloth ropes hanging from the ceiling. It was only used by one dancer (Ember) the whole time I was there. If the dancers on stage are subpar, there is a pool table and two video slot machines to occupy your time. During peak hours there were two entertainers dancing on stage at a time. Dancers are supposed to strip fully nude, but most only went topless or gave a mere peek of their cooter. One dancer did not take anything off. Private dances take place in booths along the back wall that have curtains covering their doorways. There are cameras inside of each booth, and lap dances are topless, not nude.

Non-private lap dances on the floor are $20. Private lap dances in a curtained booth are $30 per song. About the best you can hope for at Odyssey is two-way contact. Fifteen minute VIP dances are $80. Thirty minute VIP dances are $150. Sixty minute VIP dances are $280, and sixty minute VIP dances with a bottle are $320. I tried to see if any extra services were available. I was quoted $300 for a full service oil change, but purchasing an hour room was also required. I just burst out laughing because I wasn’t going to drop $600 on an ugly chick just to leave the club a few ounces lighter.
