My last fling at Club Rock-Za after nearly 30 years of great moments.
Over the years Rock-Za has been my "Go-to" club here in Honolulu and while a few other venues have occasionally surpassed Rock-Za in terms of talent, I have always considered this club as the premier club here in downtown Honolulu. As most visitors to Honolulu already know the clubs here are 100% nude with a full bar selection avaiable. The cover charge on the weekends is apparently $15 starting at 7PM so arrive NLT 6:45PM to get free entry (the bar clock runs 15 fast). The entry coupon is good for a $5 domestic beer which is the only consolation if you arrive later.
IN terms of talent it is the usual mix of mainland Caucasians along with local Asian dancers with club getting busy between 9 and 10 pm on the weekends. At present due to covid protocols the bar is open until midnight but eventually it will return to its previous 1:45 AM closing based upon the bar's clock naturally. At present there are wood framed plexiglass barriers in place around segments of both stages but they are easy to work around if you get into the right stage chairs. The bar is also employing a female DJ who starts right around 9 PM. She is actually pretty good so there is some benefit here for the club vibe once she gets rolling.
There is a food truck outside the bar which serves a pretty decent menu inside the club at fair local market value. I have tried several items on the menu and it's not bad so give it a shot. In general the bar staff is very accommodating and the girls seem to be quite friendly as long as the tips are reaching the stage. There is a small VIP area to the right of the bar which has 3 semi-private booths set up for personal table/mini-stage dances which i believe are about $40 a song. With the right girl it could be very entertaining.
