What did I just get myself into?

This is probably one of the most awkward experiences I have ever had at a club. My first time visiting the place. I’ve seen promos and Instagram videos on how “lit” Boogie Nights was so I thought I’d give them a try.

The club is very small with a small parking lot. When you come in there is security at the door, he pats you down and charges $10 at the door for cover. When I walk in the club, it looked fairly empty with a few girls hanging at the bar on their phones. Two of them being dancers. I’m used to grabbing a drink before even communicating with anyone. As soon as I sit down, a dancer comes to me and asked do I want a private dance. I tried telling her this is my first time here and I’m peeping the scene before I get any dances. She goes “ what is there to peep?” And does a full 360 for me to check out her body. I told her I was good for now; mainly because I didn’t really find her attractive.

The stage was unoccupied for the first 10 minutes I was there until a light skinned chick gets on the stage and does her thing. A patron quickly approached the stage to tip her and spend majority of the stage time with her. I quickly became bored as the only attractive dancer out of 3 was occupied. There were quite a few awkward moments where there was a long period of silence before the next song was played. I did not get a private dance from here which start at $50 and whatever the girls want to add on after that. Totally disappointing experience. I told myself maybe I came on the wrong day but based on previous reviews this is normal for this club especially since reopening after a long hiatus.
