Going to preface this by saying I use to go to tootsies about once every 6 weeks. I have a pretty good knowledge of the dancers and business here. I had planned on going weekly and then the pandemic happened.

I visited tootsies last in October 2020 during the pandemic. Tootsies at that point was pretty bad. I didn’t recognize very many girls then. It was like it was a different club. The girls were worse. But I did like how strong they were doing the pandemic precautions, checking masks and forcing 6 feet separation outside in the line. They were very strict, much more strict than the local restaurants or stores. I was surprised. I was even walked to my seat at the bar in October just to make sure the spacing was comfortable. That was some nice vip-type Service.

Fast forward a couple months, here we are in 2021. Vaccinated and ready to go back and see what’s going on. First things first, the admission to get in to tootsies is much higher. What used to be a $12 admission Friday night is now $20. They have tiered pricing, the price changes depending on the day and night. I saw $12, $15, $20. I think it was $20 for Friday and sat night. $15 for fri and sat day. And $12 during the weekday days, $15 during the weekday nights. I might be wrong here and there but that was the scale I vaguely remember. Waiting in line has some spacing, and about 60/70% of patrons entering outside we’re wearing masks. Once inside it’s a different story
