Just a bit more miss than hit
So in early May on a Monday I decided to drive over to Daytona and blow a whole evening touring the area to make up for lost time during the pandemic, and Diamond Dolls was my first and last stop of the night. I did try to end the night at Bottom's Up Club but they were unexpectedly closed when I got there around 1am, an hour before closing time, may have still been on a reduced Covid schedule or something, oh well.
Summary: A dive bar feeling club with only AA dancers who were mostly average, though there were a few standouts. Dances were mostly just grinding, regular dances a bit pricy though 45 minutes in the VIP room was a steal at only $150, and extras were pretty immediately offered.
The Club: A bit outside of the heart of Daytona, it was a fairly average size club having a dance area in the middle with a couple of poles, a bar that wrapped around the left and back, and off to an elevated area on the right were a set of wooden booths for private dances. In the back was a pool table and behind that a hallway leading to private VIP dance rooms. The booths had a bench and were small so the dances are guaranteed to be very personal, they have no curtain, but they are recessed enough to offer some privacy. The dance area being next to the bar was the best part about this club as it meant you could sit at the bar and still be close to the action. The music was very loud, to the point that later in the evening it was hard to talk, and the club had a bit of a hood vibe, didn't feel unsafe though, the security guard frisks you on the way in. Cover was $10 and I can't remember if I paid a parking fee or not for using their parking lot.
