What the heck are they thinking

After visiting Columbus Gold the week before, I decided to go next door to Vanity this week, and man was it a very disappointing experience. I enter the club and pay the $10 cover charge, after getting my temperature taken on my wrist. The friendly entrance girl was the only good thing this visit. If you want to ignore the rest of the review, in short the club had three major problems, an overcautious attempt at social distancing, a completely bored and unenergetic group of dancers, and a far too high a price of $40 / song dances.

For the rest, here is my take on the club.

The first thing I notice is there are no seats by the stage. Unlike Columbus Gold next door, the furniture and stage looks to have been updated and cleaned. One addition I did notice was a hoop hanging from the ceiling, that two of the dancers used, although only one effectively. The rest of the stage looked the same, large with two stripper poles. The three side stages looked to have gotten improved lighting. Another thing I noticed was the club smelt a lot better, probably helped by the noticeable lack of use of the fog system, which personally is a good thing.
