Jewel of the UP

First time back in the UP so i decided to hit up Big Bons for the first time in over 15 years. This place has not changed one bit. It is off the beaten path on M-35 and the place was pretty slow in terms of patrons, but it was just after opening. Since we got there early in the night they did not ask for a cover. The bartender checked our IDs as no one was up front checking us in which was great. The bar looks like your average nortwoods bar with pine wood paneling, beer signs and 2 TVs with hockey playing. The stage is off to the side with a good sized floor and a pole in the middle. The drinks were a little overpriced for the area, and since i dont drink alcohol i settled for a $5 redbull and nursed that for most of my time there. Alcohol is available too.

There were 4 dancers working and 2 were much better than I expected for the area and the look of the place. The other two were either new or just not into it. We focused most of our attention on Kendra and Keira who I would consider solid 8's. They moved well on stage and had plenty of confidence to show their experince on stage and on the pole. After their dances they all would do a floor walk for more tips or a private. We were asked multiple time if we wanted to do a private but our funds were low and we were just starting our night. The nice thing is that the private rooms are very private and it was hinted that extras would be available. Were were told that privates were $25 per song and if extras were involed that is a very good price. They also mentioned that full nude was available in the champagne room. Overall we enjoyed our time in this very quaint establishment. More patrons came in as the night went on and by the time we were leaving there may have been a little more than a handful of people there. Most seemed like non paying regulars as they drank at the bar and did not go up to the stage. I plan to come back again with a little more cash to give a private a shot.
