Orchid is wilted. & so was I.

I was in the mood for some women this week, so I gave this place a shot Monday night (typical $5 fair cover) and Thursday early daytime again. Sadly, I only stayed for two beers each time because they weren’t any babes worth my $20 even with their usual offers of good times. I had hundreds of dollars Monday night, not even 12 guys there at 10pm. A nuisance girl (she avoided mentioning her name) played me for four $1’s and stayed her distance. Two others I considered (Jazz and Hollywood) didn’t appeal to me from the stage but they were more interested in whatever goes on in their dressing room after their set. The bartender was nice so leaving her $5 was OK, & a guy next to me wouldn’t stop talking to me.. I knew it was time to leave Monday. Thursday day was dreadful .. I got there 1pm, seeing lots of cars had me excited but six guys sitting socially distanced and no one dancing as I heard 5 different songs playing meant it was a bad week to be in the Orchid. I didn’t have $200 this time, but no possibility of dropping $20 per dance when the only two girls I saw were the bartender (and her hot dog delivery) and one dancer who stayed on the opposite side. I ll try again in June. Maybe..
