Diosa

I got curious about Diosa and decided to give it a try today. The name “Diosa ” is Spanish for goddess. I’d have to say this constitutes false advertising. “Putas Gordas y tal vez una Diosa” (fat whores and maybe a goddess) would be a more apt name.

Diosa is a smallish club on Rankin Road west of I-45. Although it’s name is displayed on the sign at the corner of the parking lot (along with the names of other businesses in this small, rundown strip mall), that’s the only sign of the club’s presence. There is no sign on the door and it is easy to miss. The entrance faces the east side of the strip mall, almost as if Diosa was just an afterthought.

The cover in the early afternoon was $6. The inside of the club was dark and nearly devoid of customers. I think there were three (counting me). The women on hand appeared to be no more than six. While that might sound like pretty good odds, please bear in mind that only two of the six dancers rated more than 500 MH. One of them was about 675 MH so I guess she qualified as a low-wattage Diosa.
