Sometimes you win, and sometimes you don't.....

So I saved up my money to go to Vic's for the first time. I was all geared up....

I don't find myself in Irvington for work much, especially now, but since I was not that far away, I decided to stop by. The fact that there is a "for sale" sign on Bottom's Up made Vic's more appealing. It was mid-afternoon on a weekday, but since this is Vic's, I had no idea whether that'd be good or bad. It turns out it was bad.

The cover is $5. I ordered a Coors Lite ($7). There were maybe six or so guys there, more or less socially distanced. You are allowed to sit at the bar, but the stools are far away. The customers were a diverse group of people, mainly black (which reflects the neighborhood) but a white guy and a Latino guy. I didn't make conversation with any of them.
