Back In Action

Back in Seattle after over a year of no working in Washington. Got lucky cuz club opened April 1. Did a remodel while they were closed. Classed up the joint starting with curtain and new lighting at entrance. Cover was still $10 plus a $5 drink. They are back to glass glasses. Got rid of the plastic they used for awhile. New carpet and upholstery. Biggest change (besides the bathroom upgrade) are the private booths. They rent for $50 for 15 minutes, $75 for 30 minutes and didn’t hear how much an hour is. We didn’t plan on using them because you still pay the girls on top of that and Playground (VIP) dances are still as quality as ever.

There were only 8 ladies dancing. Saw some new faces and mostly old ones. All looked a year older and a few pounds heavier. But they were all friendly and back to their grooves Monse, Martina, Rio, Samba, Bianca, Love and Fantasy were the B team to Lola’s A team. She was definitely our pick for class of the bunch.

All of us enjoyed dances with Lola. A couple of us had no complaints with Rio. Love and Martina got solid marks. Dances still start at $30. VIP area has more privacy with a bead curtain but something in front of the bathroom door would have been nice. Steer your girl away from those seats.

All in all a good visit. The masks were weird and we got in trouble for not having them oat our table. Odd because Washington lets you drink at bars without a mask. Guess they are trying to avoid any excuses to be shut down.
