Open and almost back to normal, which is good, though not great
I stopped in here on a Friday to check out the club after its reopening a month or two ago. Upon entry at 5p, there was a temp check, contact info sign in sheet, ID scan and $5 cover. This place and penthouse seem to be the two clubs that will charge you a cover before it gets dark. Not a fan, but it’s only five bucks. Same for the sign in sheet. My guess is exactly 0% of those names and phone numbers are real, but then, they do have your ID scanned so if confidentiality is important to you, you’ve surrendered your rights here.
Bar is unchanged. A large rectangle and raised stage within, two poles and a dancers’ stair entrance at the far end near where some couch seating is. There are also bar tables around the edge of the room. It seems like a great space waster to be configured this way, but I’ve never been in the club when it’s been crowded so it’s functional for happy hour visits. Half of the barstools have been removed to promote distancing. Bathroom is always clean and no troll during my early evening visits.
There is no longer a food minimum, though you can order food. They had decent bar or pub options. Nachos, burgers, fries, etc. Beers or seltzers were about $7 and change so you’re looking at $9-10 including tip. They have decent liquor on display if that’s your thing.
