It's a start...

I had the club was open again so I decided to check it out after getting my Covid vax jab. They have added a metal detector to the entrance though I'm not sure what purpose it serves as my car keys set it off and nobody did a thing. Once you are through the metal detector they ask for your first name and a phone number. I assume this has something to do with Covid tracing. Inside they have done some renovating with new doors and chandeliers that make little to no sense to me. They simply don't work with the rest of the decor. Another addition is plexiglass walls around the main stage and both bars. The reflections off of them gives the place a fun house affect that sucks. They also make tough to talk to the bar tenders who are gorgeous and fun to chat with. Desires is a local joint and I saw a few familiar faces during my brief visit. Drink prices are the same with a Bud running you $6. My year old drink card ($25 worth of drinks for $20) was still good which was nice.

As far as the talent is concerned, there were 4 girls working the afternoon shift. Vee, Adrianna, Sassy and someone I don't recall having seen before. The VIP room is open so they were somewhat busy given the limited number of them available. Since I wasn't planning on doing a private I can't say what the situation is with dances. Because of the limited number of dancer working there was also little dancing going on on the main stage. For the first 20 minutes of my visit there was no one on stage.

All in all, it was good to kick back and relax in a familiar setting, but I think there are probably a lot of regulars like me that can't wait for this place to back to "normal". I'm guessing that'll be in another couple of months.
