Visiting the Opposite Ends of the Spectrum- Part 2

Having visited DDS on a Saturday afternoon and not finding anything that interested me, I decided to try the opposite end of the spectrum at the Porthole Pub. The Porthole Pub is the definition of the neighborhood dive bar/strip club. It’s at the end of a surprisingly busy strip shopping center. Parking is free but can be a challenge just because of how busy the shopping center can be. Overwhelmingly the dancers and patrons are black, (I enjoy a beautiful AA woman). However, don’t worry, you’ll feel perfectly comfortable here and I have been approached by dancers without any problem.

The talent level here runs from the 3-6 range. Mostly AAs with the occasional white and a few Cubans thrown in. While motownkid is right, you occasionally find a diamond in the rough, you’re more likely to find a couple of dancers who are past their expiration date, overweight, or just don’t belong dancing in a club. Actually, that is part of the charm of this place, just seeing the variety of women willing to work in a strip club.

Saturday afternoon noon no cover and Bud is $3. The place was busy with all 25 chairs around the bar taken. A few tables were still available.
