Pretty Good For a Tuesday Night

Stopped by late one weekday night during a vacation from work, and had a surprisingly good experience. Clubs are usually pretty dead during the week, so this sort of visit can be a good "acid test" of the quality of the girls and customer service. Maybe it was due to the proximity to the holidays, but when I arrived just after midnight, it was fairly busy, with a decent crowd and a good number of hot girls working.

After paying the reasonable cover ($10, I think, but I could be misremembering), I went to the bar for a drink and to break a twenty for some singles. A low-end bourbon was $12 - a bit steep compared to a normal bar, but not unreasonable by strip club standards. Besides, drinks aren't really the focus of the experience anyway. Most of the seats near the stages were taken. The crowd was mostly small groups and couples in casual dress. No "thug" types, though there were a few bikers who were a little on the loud side - it seemed like management on the floor was keeping an eye on them to make sure they didn't get too rowdy. I took my drink back to an unoccupied corner booth towards the back of the club. Even though I was out of the way, the waitresses were attentive, checking in often enough to show that they were paying attention, but not so often as to be annoying.

The girls were also attentive. I'd planned to just see what was available by watching the stage for a while, but a tall, slim blonde sat down next to me within a few minutes. It was a pretty standard interaction - a couple of minutes of small talk, then asking if I wanted a private dance. Price was $20 per dance, which seems to be pretty typical of clubs in the area.
