First club experience since March

Was back in town and decided to meet an old friend at Oasis. Before March I only went to Follies(RIP) basically except if night out with friends. I’ve been to the oasis many times with a group of friends on the weekends but not in the last couple of years.

Security check, temperature check and $10 entry after 7. Everyone knows about the set up and the burlesque show. Club wasn’t packed but surprisingly more full than I expected. The bar can be kind of crowded. All open tables have a reserved sign for the most part which is annoying especially if you went to space out. Mask were sparingly worn by customers and staff. Was maybe 20 girls max there mainly white but few black ans Hispanic. There were a few stunners but otherwise average. One nice thing of this club versus Follies is the lights and music.

Well drinks are around $8. Dances are $10 and very minimal contact. My friend was able to semi grind at times but nothing else to write home about. Vip is up to the girl and can range from maybe $200-600( I have heard) i’m sure extras happen but it’s not common for my understanding. Overall there’s nothing wrong with the club and it is what is. For me personally I’m probably gonna wait till Covid clears a little bit before I return and only return when w friends. Even pre-Covid these type of clubs are just not what I enjoy when really clubbing much and the risk reward isn’t worth it to me.
