Daytime trip to Diamond Club

Well, I feel like I've been living on the dole for the last month or two, reading the occasional "free" club reviews courtesy of Founder. I hadn't been to a club for some time mostly to being busy at work and having other worthwhile distractions. Today I visited Diamond Club for a December 1st treat. I don't believe there is, or ever will be, a new "Follies", but I was looking for another club that had a better mix of girls and perhaps some former follies dancers that I might remember and that might remember me.

I arrived around 2:15 and found plenty of parking spots open. Who knows whether club management knows that the door guy is collecting the $10 parking fee, but I wasn't worried about it and was glad to be visiting a club again. The door guy did a light, front only pat-down for those interested in that type information. There were no other entry requirements, door fee, mask etc. It has been over 25years since I'd visited this location...don't even remember what the name used to be, but they've moved the entrance facing the main road, Northside Drive.

The club is relatively small with a somewhat narrow width but a little larger than Platinum. The DJ was set up to the left just inside the door and the restrooms immediately to the right. The "main" bar is the next thing on the right and the the stage sits in the middle of the room with a combination of small tables and rows of padded benches along both walls. Very similar to Platinum in that regard. As you move towards the back there is another bar that was not open and then a "back room" containing a pool table and several VIP curtained booths. The back area was extremely smokey as the pool players chain smoked. There was another open area to the right but I couldn't tell what it was about.
