1st time at the trap

I was in Miami on vacation, and I decided to take a trek out to Pompano to try out the Booby Trap there. I’ve been to the Booby Trap in Doral, and I hated it, but I was told the Pompano location was different from the Doral location, so I decided to give it a shot. By the way Diamond Dolls is less than a mile away. I arrived on Saturday at 11:45 pm. The cover was $20. I was surprised because I thought the cover was $10. Maybe there was a special event or something. You see all the clubs post COVID put capacity restrictions, spread tables out etc. This wasn’t case at Booby Trap lol. It was wall to wall packed in there.

There is one long main stage with two poles, two girls on the stage at a time. Then there is a side stage elevated on a higher level with two poles. It is one song sets, and the girl rotates between the four poles. So if a girl you like just got on stage, you will have to wait four songs before getting a dance with her. There aren’t seats at the stage, but I saw customers touch up on the girls on stage, so I think that’s allowed. There is a second floor, I didn’t go up there or ask about it, but I think it’s like a VIP access. I would guess you have to pay to be up there, maybe like the Tootsies 2nd floor VIP access. I did see some strippers up there, and some customers. What I couldn’t quite figure out is where the customers can actually sit. I ended up sitting at the bar. When you walk in, there are some couches on the left, and I saw some strippers giving dances to customers there. To the right of the main stage, there are seats, and then behind the side stage, there are some couches. There were customers sitting in all three of the different seating areas, but I think a couple of those areas were VIP seating where customers have to pay money to get those seats. Drink prices seemed normal, my corona was seven bucks. It was a younger crowd as far as customers go, there were a few older guys, but mostly customers in their 20’s.

A couple of bad things about Booby Trap is the DJ and the loud music. That probably was the loudest music I’ve ever heard at a strip club. I thought the music at Scarlett’s was loud, this was louder. The DJ wouldn’t shut the fuck up, he thought he was the star of the show or something. Customers come to the strip clubs for the girls, not the DJ. Towards the end of the night he started cutting songs short and transitioning to the next song, so when girls were doing dances, it was hard to tell when the next song started. The music was all hip hop.
