Since there hasn’t been a review on Columbia Strip in these covid phase 1 times, I thought I would stop by and check it out. This club is a bit out of the way for me so this is just my fourth time being here, but my first during phase 1. I was there around noon on this Sunday. I took the off ramp from I-5 to Columbia Blvd, looked down the road, and couldn’t miss the ugly blue building with a second story that looks like it has had a copy of bad add-ons. You have to turn off Columbia on a side street to enter the parking lot. There were nine cars in the lot which was encouraging because of the day/time. The parking lot is fenced from Columbia blvd, so it is pretty secure. As I sat in my truck and looked around, I noticed cameras all around the outside of the building and I wondered what the second story is used for. I have never seen stairs inside the club. This is a typical Portland dive bar on the outside and inside.

I grabbed my mask and headed to the entrance. Upon entering, there was no cover or bouncer/security check. They have a few lotto machines right inside the entrance and around half dozen long high tables/chairs scattered around. There were three guys playing the machines and another sitting at a table near the bar, but no sitting at the bar or rack. The board showed four dancers listed but I only saw two. One, on my scale, with a seven in looks, eight in body and another with five in looks, three in body. I walked up to the bar and ordered a three dollar coke from the friendly joking bartender. I took a table closest to the rack, took off my mask, and sat there maybe 15 minutes before any dancer decided to dance. Here I am at noon on Sunday with at least two NFL games going on, but no, they had to have bowling showing. It was a long 15 minutes.

The dancer with a seven in looks took the stage and danced three songs. I tipped two bucks a song. The railing around the rack is high and makes for seeing the dancer when she is on the floor, difficult. One guy playing the machines walked over and stood at the rack and watched. The dancer got totally nude (except the mask) and by the third song, she came over the rack and gave me some pretty good views of the goods. When she was done, she came over to my table and introduced herself as Aurora. We made some small talk and she was very personable. I finally asked about her dances and I got the typical $40/song, three for $100. By the way, I have been quoted better prices from other dancers here in the past. She said they are totally nude and two way touching ,except the kitty. I had made arrangements to see another dancer at another club later in the afternoon so I wasn’t very interested in paying her rates. So I said maybe later and thought she would move on, but she asked if she could have a seat. I said sure. With at least 35 years between us it can make you work for conversation. When I noticed no one else was dancing, I asked her about that and she said this place is not structured. I take that as dancers dance when they want to. With that, I said well lets go do a dance then. She asked how many and I said let’s start with one.
