An enjoyable Monday

I had the day off work on a Monday, so I considered my options and settled on Silver Criket. I think I generally end up there because there's no valet, and the lot seems pretty secure. Got to the club at 1:00 PM and noticed the parking lot wasn't very full--maybe twenty cars in all. Walked in and got my temperature taken by Mr. Door Guy. There were maybe eight other customers in the club, mostly older gentlemen. I really do like the Criket, it's got a good ambiance but isn't nearly as pricey as Flight Club or BT's.

I sat between stage and bar and ordered a water, which was $8. On stage was a lovely African American girl whose name I couldn't catch (I can only understand about half of what the DJ says). She moved well and I tipped a couple bucks. At this point I counted only about four girls in the place.

An attractive Latina stopped by and asked if I'd like some company. I recognized her as Sasha, a dancer I'd spoken with once about a month or two earlier. She's a sweet young woman, very easy to talk to. We chatted for a short while before she asked if I'd care for some dances. To be honest, I had gotten dances from her the first time I met her and enjoyed them, but I wanted to wait a bit. I asked her to check back with me later, and she agreed to do that.
