Amnesia has a little place in my heart, it might not be a popular strip club in Tijuana like Hong Kong or Deja Vu, but what it lacks in some departments in definitely makes up in another ones. tried going during the pandemic to make sure it was really closed and not just pretending to be closed like what's going on in the 7th floor in Hong Kong's partner hotel. I checked and they have been closed since the Tijuana authorities declared a closing for none essential business around March-April.
This will be a review on my last visit which was a few weeks before covid. Amnesia is located far from Tijuana's red zone you will need to catch a taxi from the border usually 5$ will suffice if they ask for more get another taxi they are trying to rip you off. Now when you enter you have to pay a 5$ entrance fee no matter the time or what day it is. Good thing is that you get an alcoholic drink with the cover you just paid just make sure you tip your mesero 1$ and also anytime you buy another drink. I have found that service here has been constantly the best compared to other bigger more crowded clubs. It was a friday night and there must have been around 25 patrons and like around 15 girls working this is as packed as it gets for this club. Out of all those girls I would say that at least half are not even worth looking at while the other are more on the average with the rare exception. As far as i could tell there were private dance for 20$ that last around 15 minutes each. Drinks are good, service is great, its always chill since most of the time is not crowded, girls are mostly okay and there is also a pool that you can play while the not so good looking girls are dancing on stage. I would say this club is at a "safer" zone than the red zone and you can park your car for a few dollars in front of the club. Usually on weekends that's where you'll find the rare gems hidden make sure you tip your mesero so you can get the best girl. So that night i told my mesero to bring me a girl that i had my eye own he brought her right away and gave him dollar for his pimping. She was a beautiful girl from venezuela got a lap dance and she offer extra services for 80$ which I declined since I did not have enough money and the atms are really shady so id rather not. Overall it was a chill night like most of the time will definitely be coming back when the pandemic has passed.
