Sweet time in Sweet Springs, MO

So, even more than normal, Founder deserves an assist in a big way for this one. Let me explain.

With the new website (that honestly I am still learning how to negotiate) some things seem easier to find, some more difficult. One of the easier things to find for me are the photos. So, I happened to be on the website, clicked on the photos, and saw an attractive dancer that I hadn’t seen before— Venus Candy/Erika Steele. Her profile said that she danced at the Lucky Lady Cabaret in Sweet Springs, MO. and also saw that it seemed to be right on the route of my up-coming road trip. I did read reviews of the club — they were all old and not too complementary— but I messaged Erika, she responded, and we set up a meeting.

Fast forward to the visit, this place is really in the middle of nowhere — it’s even equidistant between the two exits off of I-70 that will get you there (so use your GPS). The cabaret shares the building with a Spa/video store (apparently with booths and hot tubs). The cabaret side had a $10 cover and that included one non-alcoholic drink (I had a water). There is no alcohol served. There is a moderately large stage with a pole, seats around the stage, and then assorted tables and a booth or two. I went in with a mask but no one was wearing them so I took mine off.
