Too Many Hotheads, Avoid Unless You Like That Sort of Thing

PSA: Early morning on Thursday, August 27 at around 3:15am there was a shooting here. You can Google it, and a sample headline is "Security guard shoots man who fired AK-47 at XTC Cabaret, police say". Somehow nobody other than the shooter was injured, but the dude was carrying a machine gun. This visit and review were written prior to the shooting. While I was there waiting for my friend the guards mentioned there had been tempers flaring, and as I mentioned in the review there was one argument that was nearly a fight before people stepped in to cool people down. If you decide to go here after hours just know what you're getting into.

GETTING IN

Got here late with a group of people. Don't usually club with others, but they insisted on going so I went back to a club I was fine to not go back to. It was around 3am or 4am on a Friday night. The club is one of the few still open post-COVID, so it's crowded. Standing room only crowded. Still had a line out the door crowded. Got a pat down and temperature check. 3 security guards at the door. Professional and no problems but they were busy. Masks are required for entry, but it's Texas so there's a lot of people wall to wall not wearing them.
