The Return of the Pony

The Pony was reopened when I stopped by tonight. This club has been there for years but has gone through various ownership changes. It was formerly known as Rick's Cabaret and before that Brad's Gold Club. The relatively low number of reviews this club has is due to the older reviews not being carried over when it switched owners and doesn't reflect the quality of the club. It's one of the more upscale clubs here in Indianapolis.

The club hadn't changed much since my last visit. The girls were a little less attractive and there were fewer of them and the customers were younger. The virus has scared away a lot of the older guys and the change in age composition has changed the ambiance of the club a little and made it feel a little more like a place for young people to hang out. I was asked to wear a face mask when walking around the club but could take it off while sitting at my table.

I did two lap dances with a girl I know there. She wore a mask while doing the dances and I was fine with that. They weren't air dances and there was an acceptable level of contact but contact was less than usual and she faced away from me more than usual. She said the club took her temperature when she showed up for work every night. She sat at my table and talked a bit before the dances. It was nice to see her, talk to her and do lap dances again. Doing the dances also enabled me to spend some money. I know a lot of these girls ran through their savings while the clubs were closed and are hurting for money right now. Regular lap dances here are $25 a song, in line with what is normal for Indianapolis. I don't know the pricing structure for private rooms. Indiana is a conservative state and spending extra money to try and get in the club extras is hit or miss. Because of that, I stick with the regular dances.
