Fighting the good fight, but...
TT was always a little unusual, in that it was (particularly during the day) the most regular centric place I’ve ever been to. If Follies was like the wild one night stand, TT was the “married” club, where regulars would come in, sit at the bar, and spend large periods of time simply talking to girls (though sometimes but not always resulting in VIP).
Post COVID (and I went during short sweet spot, when it was reopened but before recent spike), it was not as regular oriented, but that seemed mainly due to a feeling of low energy for everyone.
The club was clearly trying to move away from casual contact at bar to more private interactions (a number of small, divided seats had been put in, though bar and dance area remained pretty much as they were). While TT was no Follies, there were girls who would give nice dances outside of back booths/VIP; that really was not present this time. Even some girls who were the best at bar-side dances (Robin, Alisha) seemed much more cautious; not in a law enforcement way, but a combination of COVID fears and different feel to the club (still, if you can get Robin - might be real name; heard someone call her - she’s still worth it - very pretty, blond girl next door, late 20s and fun to talk to). Costs were 10 to 20 — at least requested - so not sure what basic cost is now.
