Scouting Trip

Well - like everyone - been thinking of testing the COVID waters (or post-COVID waters, depending on your take on it) in my favorite hobby - it's been way too long - but gotta do it safely. I had maybe a half hour to spare so I went for it - because i want to return to this scene, but want to know what precautions are in force and what actually makes realistic sense in the way of expectations.

Hung around Florida for far too long, just got back up North a bit over a month ago - and these clubs in western Wayne County (for those from out of the area, west of Detroit city and around the airport) are where I'm still most comfortable.

I had no intentions on this visit of doing more than scouting. I passed by Bogie's first, around the corner, too few cars both in front and behind the building. So, since behind the building is where I always think staff including entertainers park, I passed on it and went right here to King Henry's North.

Parking free as always, now I see a fence in process of completion. Safe feeling as always, but that is never an issue in the daytime anyway.

Walked in, this was late afternoon but still enough time before change of shift that there were not a lot of dancers (but more than a handful of customers). Standard greeting from bouncer but no mention of cover charge.
