Friday night fun

I had a dinner meeting nearby and thought I’d make a detour before heading home. I had not made a visit here in a couple months. I saw some social media posts about a themed event, so they had the place decorated a bit when I walked in around 9. I don’t think most patrons or dancers took it too seriously though in terms of dressing up or participating.

They have valet, but I typically skip it as there is lots of nearby free parking and it seems like a safe area. It was a $20 cover to the lady at the desk on the right upon entry. A couple big bouncers by the entrance, one patted me down and asked me where to sit. Booths are pricey here at night, so I opted for the bar straight ahead to the right, and paid $12 for my drink including tip.

They had two dancers on center stage when I arrived. They soon switched to four on stage, extending to the back stage. In an hour and a half, I don’t think they got through the whole rotation of dancers, so there were probably at least 25 there tonight. Maybe as many patrons. 4 or 5 booths were occupied by groups of customers, with another 3 or 4 occupied by groups of dancers and employees. The bar was mostly full, and about half the tables on the floor were occupied.
