Changes at The Cheetah
Rather than regurgitate the usual overview, thought I would focus on what has changed since The Cheetah reopened.
First, the club reopened on June 8 and not June 1 as indicated on the website due to the curfew in Atlanta. Next thing that I noticed was the Plexiglas at the desk where they collect the $12 cover charge. They also checked my temperature before I was allowed to enter the club.
All employees, including dancers, were wearing masks. Only a couple of customers were doing so. All the tables in the main room have been swapped out to ones with 4 chairs and seating capacity is less than half of what it used to be. They have also removed about half of the bar stools. There didn't seem to be as many changes in the seating for Alluvia restaurant. The club is also opening at 4 instead of noon and the day shift has been expanded an hour until 9. Day shift dancers are a step down from night shift which we noticed when arriving at 8:30.
