Old Review - Pre Virus

Late Review. This was a visit over the Christmas holiday. In the city to enjoy the Christmas season and decided to make a stop here. Friday night visit, cover is usually $20 but was giving a first pass from the bouncer on a previous visit. So, no charge but I did tip the door girl. There is a mandatory coat check during the colder winter months. I am not sure if there is a charge as I always tipped the girl $5 and she never said anything other than thank you.

There are door guys outside that let you in and direct you to the door girl. As part of the process, they radio to a floor guy that a new customer has arrived. The floor guy meets you and walks you down the hall to the club. He suggests a table to you, I often say I am just going to head to the bar and they are fine with it. They do come by and check on you occasionally, checking if you are having a good time and asking what type of girls you like. If you sit long enough by yourself, they will send a few girls over to talk to you. (That doesn’t happen often, more on that later). This is good and bad, as I have had them send over a dozen girls to talk to me and none was what I was looking for.

There is a dress code. Sweat pants of any type are not allowed. Shorts are a no go in the winter months. I don’t think ball caps are allowed.

Back to the club layout, from the door you enter on the side – there is a set of stairs to your immediate left and a large stage to you left and about seating for 40 – mostly tables in the middle of the room and along the wall. Straight ahead to the wall is the bar – good size – has seating probably for 10-12. There is a small satellite stage in front of the bar – it is tiny and there is additional seating. There is also I guess you would call it a VIP area to the back – it usually has velvet ropes blocking it. On slow nights girls head that way to do dances, some get away with it and others are told by the floor guy to find another place. And to the right back is also the rest room – almost always has a bathroom troll – nice guy usually and the bathroom is always clean. There is also an ATM machine in the hallway to the bathroom.
