Post Covid Update

There’s basically three major counties in the Portland area. Two of the counties are now open as far as the clubs go. With the two counties that are open, one of the counties has 1 strip club, and the other county has 5 strip clubs. The biggest county which has over 50 Portland strip clubs is not open yet. Long story short I was itching to visit a club, and I had six clubs as an option. I chose to visit Dolphin because to me it was the best option available.

Dolphin is in phase 1 reopening. Under Oregon guidelines in phase 1 the bars and clubs have to close by 10pm. So Dolphin’s new hours of operation during phase 1 is 2pm to 10pm. I strolled into Dolphin around 5. The parking lot was maybe 1/4 full.

There was no cover when I walked in, no temperature check either. Apparently on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 5:00, the cover is 5 bucks. No cover any other day of the week. There were maybe ten customers, do not too busy. The club has been remodeled a little bit during quarantine. Everything is more spread out. There are no longer seats at the bar. The seats at the stage have been removed. If you want to tip a girl on stage, you have to stand and just put the money on the stage. They still have two main stages and a minor stage in the back by the lottery machine. Only one stage was in use today. Happy hour is 4-7, mixed drinks are a dollar off during this time. The staff was wearing masks, but none of the dancers were.
