Needs More Time

I have made a couple of stops into the Hi-Liter since they recently re-opened. One on a Saturday afternoon, one on a Sunday afternoon. Both visits happened mid afternoon (2-3pm or so). The parking lot was fairly empty both times, probably about 1/3 filled. They posted some COVID-19 rules on the door, but they really didn't amount to much (non mandatory masks, social distancing, etc.). Still no day time cover charge.

Everything else is the same as I remembered, well except for some new carpeting, that looked nice. There were maybe 10-15 customers on each visit (oddly enough, I recognized some faces, we mongers are a pathetic group). Plenty of seating available on both visits. I grabbed a wall seat both times with no trouble.

Waitstaff was plentiful, or seemed that way with so few customers in attendance. No masks mandated on any of the staff. 2 domestic drafts still runs $5.25. I didn't eat anything, but the kitchen is still available (they actually have some reasonably priced/reasonably tasting food available).
