Plenty of Milkshakes Bringing the Boys to the Yard

After the earlier posted review, I wanted to see for myself that BA was re-opened. So, after a visit to HL, I drove over to Band-Aids and, lo and behold, cars filled the parking lot. All the parallel spots near the club were filled, which I took to be a good sign. Turns out, club opened last Thursday.

It's the afternoon, so no cover. I haven't been carded since 2018 here, and that didn't change either. I walk in, head to the back room. So, nothing has changed. Same # of chairs and tables, same stage set-up. VIP is open for business. Dances are still $10 on the floor, $20 in VIP. My Coke was $4.50, plus tip.

Got dances on the floor and in VIP. Nothing has changed there, either. Club is still a vestige for mostly thick Latina dancers, and mostly thick African-American dancers. So, if you like 'em with a little meat on their bones, come to Band-Aids. If you don't, then head east on Thomas Rd for 25 blocks to get to Bourbon Street. For me, it's a nice change of pace and I always know what I'm getting.
