First day of mongering in forever. I had long given up on Centerfold as the value for dollar and the monitoring of the private dancer area were obnoxious. Today, we’re in a different world, literally. I walk in, greeted at the door and immediately had my forehead temperature checked. I passed, I was asked to sign a hold harmless statement stating if I get sick because of the club, I hold them harmless. $10 cover and a wand to check for weapons or condoms in foil. Passed another check lol. I’m asked to put on a supplied mask and walk into the club. Gone is the pool table.

There are now more shower curtains in this bar than on sale at Target. The shower curtains are at the bar, stage and every table. At the tables you sit on one side of the curtain, the dance on the other side. The curtains are secured at the table to a portable wardrobe. There are now buttons on the table to request for a waitress. I’m seated now and greeted by a waitress who takes my beer order and $6 later, a cold bottled beer. The dancers are still wearing their normal stripper attire, and also now wear masks. All other club personnel are masked as well. Dancers still perform on stage, mask free. I’m between dances a guy comes on stage and sanitizes the floor and poles. Songs do not appear to be clipped at 2 minutes anymore. Private dances are still available but you’re separated by the clear shower curtain. Air dance only. It’s like a peep show booth dance. I did not partake. I chatted with a dancer, Alyssa who informed me that they hope for some dances and to work the drink hustle, but she was mostly happy to be out of the house. The club was clean and the staff is always helpful if not overzealous. We’re now in the true form of look and don’t touch era. The only way I think dancers will make any real money will be OTC endeavors. Which now that things like CL & BP are closed you’ll have to do some intel gathering on your own vs clicking on an ad. As someone who’s been clubbing for over 25 years, in many areas, in 3 counties, we’ve reached a new low. Look and don’t touch will likely be here for awhile. This club seems to be the only one in the area that’s open. The days of the Lap dance appear to be over for now.
