Even on a quiet night, there are always gems here and I found one

When in Houston, St. James shouldn’t be missed but because my last visit to St. James was less than great, I had a plan to go here in the late afternoon but I needed a backup plan. That plan was to return to Bucks Wild but I never made it there. Here’s why:

I was in Houston in early March with an itch that needed to be scratched. This was back in the last few days or weeks before coronageddon and the only corona I was interested in was the watery beer with a lime. I arrived around 530 or 6p and paid the $15 cover to get in. I was asked if I had a favorite waitress, but as a non-regular I wanted to be able to move around the bar to assess options and approach anyone who caught my eye.
