Still closing the gap with HK

I was in TJ last weekend at the tail end of a vacation in MX, and I feel lucky that it turned out to be the last weekend before travel restrictions and the like kicked in… I'm not sure when I'll be able to set up my next trip down there given that any air travel booked now might be canceled at some future date…

The club has made a couple of small changes since my last visit. First, the ATM out front gives US dollars, but it's a rotten deal as it charges about a 20% premium over the exchange rate -- if you're looking to get more than about $100 it's worth making the trip downtown to withdraw pesos from an actual bank ATM and converting them yourself. Second thing is that they have moved their shaving cream show to the second stage now (between the main stage and the hot tub). It gets nowhere near the traffic that the HK show gets, and strangely, they don't lay out towels around the stage so if you want to give the girls a fondle you're on your own to get cleaned up afterwards.

As per usual, the place is pretty dead before 7-8pm and talent is a notch below what HK offers. I did find a couple of 9s there to play with and they are more approachable here than they are in HK because there's fewer mongers overall. Fichas are now $9 here so they must be feeling good enough about business to bump that up, or they might be banking the extra to finally renovate the Jalos hotel. A guy can hope.
