Yet another CC mesera experience…

It seems like Friday’s are definitely the best day to visit Zona clubs. I checked out all three main clubs ( HK, CC & BT ), and they were all busy than their usual weekday’s ( Monday’s and Tuesday’s are my usual days of visit, occasionally Wednesday/Thursday’s ).

The usual parking behind Jack’s parking structure, and there was ample open spaces so managed park in a good spot right by the front entrance area. Then walked up the pedestrian walkway into Mexico checkpoint area and it was quite busy, the US travelers lane was long ( but it gave me a positive overall feeling that things are still normal entering / exiting TJ ). As soon my turn comes, I unfortunately had to deal with this new green agent who seemed totally lost. The fool takes my passport-card/ID and excuses himself for a couple of minutes ( maybe to do some sort of checking, since I was dressed slightly more formal than the rest of the crowd in the lane - I had an earlier job related meeting in San Diego ). Anyways, that didn’t bother me a bit as I was quite confident of the end result. As expected the goofball returns with my ID and immediately fills out the one-day visit card ( per my request ) and off I went into the dreamland 😁

As I walked in the happy lane, and was about to cross the dirt road area where HK shuttle is usually parked, I noticed it actually being available. So,I requested the driver for a ride to HK and he let’s me in through the gate but then tells me to walk to their office down the street.I just thanked him ( for nothing )and walked back in the pedestrian walkway and instead took a taxi which went quick and seamless without any sort of delays ( $10 ride in taxi, which the HK shuttle driver could have easily made but I guess he preferred staying idle instead and doing nothing- Oh well, his loss since I really didn’t care who ended up making the $10 tip ).
