I made several visits to Bar L'Extase. The strip club is in a blue building that also houses a barber shop and a car painting business. The door for the titty bar is in the middle of the building. Once inside you go up a flight of stairs to enter the strip club. The cover charge is always $5. It is customary to tip the bouncer a dollar or two after he seats you at a table or at the bar. A Sincweiser was $6.75. A bottle of water was $4.25. I bought a dancer a glass of wine, and that was $9. The establishment carries only Labatt and Budweiser products.

On the left side of the room is a stage about a half meter off of the ground. It has one pole and a chair shaped like a high heel. There are pull-up bars hanging from the ceiling, but few dancers utilize them. The right side of the room has a VIP couch behind curtains and three video slot machines. The bar is straight ahead on the back wall. The lap dance area is hooked around to the immediate right as you reach the top of the stairs entering the club. There are about nine booths. There are no cameras in the private dance area, and there is a fair amount of privacy as long as no other couples walk by the front of your booth.

Lap dances are $20 per song and contact is two-way. Most dancers will let you feel them up anywhere except their pussy. One dancer let me rub her clit, but I did not try going knuckles-deep. Typically, there are five or six dancers on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and there are ten to twelve dancers on Fridays and Saturdays. Most dancers are white, but a few black dancers come from Montreal to work here. Dancers get nude on stage. Nobody tips the stage; the stage show is like an advertisement of who is available for private dances.
