Bliss.....same old thing

About every 6 months I stop by this place hoping that by some reason, it's improved.....unfortunately I generally leave disappointed. This was the case during my last visit.

I had errands to run in the area, so I thought I'd pop in for a drink. As you walk into the club (passing the bathroom) the bar is on your left. There were 3 or 4 rather stocky ladies sitting at the end of the bar eyeing me as if they were birds of prey. I quickly realized that I was the only guy in the place. In addition to the girls at the bar, there were two or three others sitting off to the side in chairs and playing on their cell phones. I took a minute to order a drink and unfortunately, unlike Hi Liter or Bourbon St., there were no drink specials. I ordered house vodka just to keep the price down a bit.

There was a Filipino girl on stage and she seemed to be the only dancer that was slim so I went to the stage and tipped her a few bucks. She said hello but never came by to chat after her time on stage. Another girl got on stage and was stretching and though thick, she was at least somewhat attractive. I asked her for a dance and we went to the back corner of the floor area. Dances were $10 and she did pretty well so I got 3 dances from her while I finished my vodka. She tried to get me into VIP, but I needed to head down the road so I paid her (and tipped as well) and left.
