Its been a while since I have reviewed the Parrot. This is one of my all-time favorites. While I will admit it does have its ups and downs (no pun intended), it usually will not disappoint. I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon after a slow day at work and was ready for a drink and some relaxation.
The front desk is just inside the main door and the young lady must have recognized me so she waived the regular cover. I tipped her 5 for the kindness. You then travel down a wide hallway (restroom on the left side) to the main room. As has been described many times it is a large room with a T stage. You are entering the room at the bottom of the T. The bar and pool tables are to the right next to the far wall. I prefer grabbing a table near the top right side of the T since it is near the door to the dressing room and also where the ladies access the stage. Often times a good opportunity to see Miss Right.
After I ordered a beer, I was joined by an attractive and fit 25ish Latina named M***. She shared that she lived across the border but would come to work at the Parrott and stay with friends for a few days at a time. I bought M a drink and we visited for a while. Her English was pretty good. I was relaxing with my beverage and M decided to get a little better acquainted. Her hands were active and warm.
