Slow Friday night at a very nice club, if only the girls were pretty

I visited this club once before several years ago, so I figured I would check it out again. I'm not sure if it has changed, or if the club just didn't stand out in my mind, but this is actually a very nice club. If the women were prettier I would come here much more often.

The parking lot is large enough given the number of customers on a Friday night; plenty of empty spaces. The entrance leads into a nicely decorated, spacious and hardwood floored foyer area where the cover charge is paid. Cover charge was $10... or was it $15, I don't remember. The main club area is large and spacious, with a very very high ceiling. I'm sure this place used to be some type of industrial facility, especially given the type of business in the vicinity. In the center of the main club space is the stage, with two poles going to the ceiling. The dancers climb a flight of stairs and then walk down steps as they enter the walkway for their stage show. The lighting is all state of the art and quite tasteful. In fact, the entire club is well decorated; large framed photographs hang on the walls. Immediately surrounding the main stage are comfortable chairs, and then further back are sets of chairs and tables where customers can drink and meet the dancers. On one side of the club is the bar. A Guinness was $7. The private dance area is accessed through a discreet black door. Upon entering the private dance area a man stands behind a podium and asks for payment for private dances with the dancers. $40 for a nude dance, $20 for a topless dance.

For a Friday night, and a club of this size, I would have expected the presence of many more customers. I stayed until about 1 am, and there were at most 40 customers while I was there. If this club ran out of seats and people just stood around and watched dances--as it is sometimes that busy at the clubs in Philly--then this place could easily house 150 customers. It would be crowded, but the difference between 40 and 150 is quite large.
